Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter is the Central Coburg Business Association (CCBA).

2. Promotion Period

The promotion commences on 25 August 2026 and will run for 10 monthly prize draws, with the first draw taking place in September 2026 and the final draw taking place in June 2027.

3. Eligibility

Entry is open to Victorian residents aged 18 years and over.

CCBA staff and committee members are not eligible to enter.

4. How to Enter

To enter, participants must subscribe to the Central Coburg email mailing list during the Promotion Period.

The promotion is open to new subscribers only. Each valid email address receives one entry.

Once subscribed, entrants will remain eligible for each subsequent monthly draw unless they unsubscribe or have previously won a prize.

Existing subscribers as at 23 August 2026 are not eligible to enter.

No purchase is necessary to enter.

5. Monthly Prize

One eligible entrant will win a $100 Central Coburg Gift Card each month, with 10 gift cards to be awarded over the Promotion Period.

The prize is a physical EFTPOS-based gift card and can be used at Central Coburg retailers that accept the card via EFTPOS swipe.

Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and are subject to any additional conditions stated on the card.

The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

6. Prize Draws

One winner will be randomly selected on the 1st of each month, commencing 1 September 2026.

If the 1st falls on a weekend or public holiday, the draw will take place on the next business day.

The draw will take place at the Central Coburg Business Association office at Schoolhouse Studios, Coburg, Victoria.

To be eligible for a particular month’s draw, entrants must have subscribed by 11:59pm on the final calendar day of the preceding month.

Each eligible entrant will have an equal chance of being selected.

Eligible entrants who do not win will automatically remain in subsequent monthly draws, provided they remain subscribed.

Once an entrant has won a prize, they will not be eligible for subsequent draws.

Entrants do not need to be present at the draw.

7. Winner Notification and Prize Delivery

Winners will be notified in writing via the email address used to enter.

Winners will be asked to respond within 7 days of notification and provide the information required to deliver their prize.

If a winner does not respond within 7 days, CCBA will make reasonable efforts to contact them. If the winner cannot be identified or contacted after reasonable efforts, CCBA may conduct a redraw in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

The physical gift card will be mailed to the winner at an Australian postal address provided by them.

Prizes will be provided to winners within 28 days of the relevant draw.

8. Winner Publicity

Winners agree to their name being announced on Central Coburg’s social media channels.

Winners may also be contacted by CCBA and invited to provide a brief comment about where they plan to spend their prize.

9. Unsubscribing

Entrants may unsubscribe from Central Coburg marketing emails at any time.

Unsubscribing will remove the entrant from all subsequent monthly prize draws.

10. Marketing and Privacy

By entering the promotion, entrants agree to subscribe to and receive Central Coburg email marketing communications, including local news, promotions, events and updates.

Personal information collected through the promotion will be used to administer the giveaway and for Central Coburg email marketing.

Entrants may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

Personal information will not be used for purposes other than those stated in these Terms & Conditions, except where required or permitted by law.

11. General Conditions

CCBA reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms & Conditions.

CCBA is not responsible for incorrect or incomplete contact information supplied by entrants or for emails that are not received due to spam filters, technical issues or other circumstances outside CCBA’s reasonable control.

If the promotion cannot proceed as planned due to circumstances outside CCBA’s reasonable control, CCBA reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the promotion, subject to applicable laws.

CCBA will retain records relating to entries, prize draws and prize distribution as required by applicable Victorian regulations.

CCBA’s decisions in relation to the administration of the promotion are final, subject to applicable law.
