Terms & Conditions

Promoter
This competition is conducted by Central Coburg Business Association (“CCBA”, “Promoter”).

Competition Period
The competition opens at 1:00pm AEST on Tuesday 14 April 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on Friday 29 May 2026. The prize draw will take place on Saturday 30 May 2026.

Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over. Employees, committee members, contractors and immediate family members of Central Coburg Business Association are not eligible to enter. Limit of one (1) entry per person. Incomplete, duplicate, automated or fraudulent entries may be deemed invalid at the Promoter’s discretion.

How to Enter
To enter, participants must, during the Competition Period, complete the official competition Google Form, submit their nominated Hidden Gem in Central Coburg, provide a valid email address, and indicate whether they live in Coburg.

Prize
There are three (3) prizes to be won. Each prize is one (1) $300 Coburg Gift Voucher, with a total prize pool value of AUD $900. Vouchers may be redeemed at any Central Coburg business with an EFTPOS swipe facility. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

Winner Selection and Notification
Three winners will be selected by random electronic draw from all valid entries received. The draw will occur on 30 May 2026. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Winners will be notified via the email address provided within five (5) business days of the draw. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within seven (7) days, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw that prize.

Marketing Consent & Privacy
By entering, entrants acknowledge and agree that their email address will be added to the Central Coburg Business Association email marketing mailing list and consent to receiving promotional and marketing communications from CCBA. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link included in all emails. Personal information collected will be used for administration of the competition, prize fulfilment, marketing communications, and audience insights and reporting. All information will be handled in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws.

Use of Entries
By entering this competition, entrants grant Central Coburg Business Association permission to use, reproduce, publish and share their submitted Hidden Gem responses, in whole or in part, for promotional, marketing and editorial purposes. This may include use across social media content, website content, email marketing communications, trader and precinct promotional campaigns, printed marketing materials, and media and publicity activity. CCBA may edit responses for length, clarity, spelling and style while preserving the original meaning. Responses may be published with or without the entrant’s first name and suburb, unless the entrant has requested otherwise. No additional compensation will be provided for use of submitted responses.

General
The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or breaches these Terms & Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the competition if required due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
