Tochi Deli

Good things come in small packages at Tochi Deli. After building a loyal following at Brunswick Market, husband-and-wife team Shingo and Rena Tochimoto brought their much-loved Japanese deli to Central Coburg in 2026.

The intimate Victoria Street spot is all about carefully prepared, approachable Japanese food. Expect nigiri and sushi, onigiri, colourful chirashi and comforting donburi, with ingredients changing with the seasons.

There’s plenty of craftsmanship in the space itself, too. Much of the 17-seat shop was built by hand, with materials from the original Brunswick location reused in its new Coburg home.
